12025-08-01T12:45:24+00:00Funeral of Harold Alder - Apartment 33Other Residents: Event 2plain2025-08-04T14:52:36+00:0005/28/1923“The funeral of eight-year-old Harold Alder, whose tragic death occurred last Thursday, was held on Saturday at 2:30 o’clock, from the home of parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. F. Alder, 146 Bayswater avenue, to St. James cemetery, Hull.”
The little boy died in a car accident, though the newspaper does not mention whether he was a passenger or a pedestrian when it happened. Mr. Alder was a manager at the Coca-Cola factory. It is not clear why Harold was buried in Hull rather than in Beechwood Cemetery.
