Car accident in front of the house

“Two people were cut about the head and had a miraculous escape from more serious injury in a spectacular motor car accident at the corner of Bayswater and Gladstone avenues, on Saturday night. The driver of one of the cars, James Timlin, 2157 Newport street, Detroit, Mich., was placed under arrest following the accident, on a charge of reckless driving. Both cars were piled up and badly damaged on the lawn in front of 146 Bayswater avenue.”

The two injured parties were Mr. Frederick Mulligan and Miss Elizabeth Timlin, neither of whom lived at 146 Bayswater. Both of them were able to return home from the hospital shortly after the accident. Both cars ploughed into the lawn of 146 Bayswater and were stopped by a fence, narrowly escaping colliding with a tree.
